Webinar collaboration

October 2005. ECEC is pleased to collaborate with the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) and the International Federation of Abortion and Contraception Professionals (FIAPAC) on the webinar:  Expanding mifepristone availability to improve access to medical abortion: three case studies, taking place on October 16 at 14:00 CET.

The webinar is an invitation to think about how to challenge patriarchal regulatory frameworks that still restrict access to several reproductive health supplies such as oral and emergency contraceptives, medical abortion drugs and others. This session will focus particularly on mifepristone for medical abortion.

Speakers will present global trends in availability of mifepristone for medical abortion, and share lessons from Australia, Canada, and Mexico, focusing on the legal and regulatory changes that made wider access possible, and the partnerships and advocacy that drove progress.

Join us to learn from global experiences and explore how we can move closer to true self-care in reproductive health. Find the program details and link to register here: Https://www.fiapac.org/en/p/home/
